Clear thinking, creative ideas and a personal approach to your next digital chapter.
Meet the thinking behind ArmsteadArmstead Marketing is a UK sole-trader-operated digital marketing business. The aim is to make websites and marketing feel more understandable, with a clear connection between the decisions you make and the business you want to build.
That means listening before recommending, explaining the thinking behind the work and being honest about what a project includes. You should have space to ask questions, share your perspective and understand the next step.
It is a conversation for independent businesses, service providers and growing ideas that want a considered digital presence. Whether you are starting with a website or rethinking your direction, the work begins with your priorities.
The mission is digital clarity: purposeful design, useful content and a practical plan that you can understand. No inflated promises. A direction we can discuss, shape and agree together.
From the first brief to the final handover, expectations should be visible and decisions should have a purpose.
A discovery brief brings your business, audience and priorities into focus. We discuss what people need to understand, what you want them to do and what you already have. The starting point is your situation, rather than a list of channels you must buy.
Before work begins, a written scope should set out the deliverables, responsibilities, timing, fees and payment milestones. It should also explain what is outside the project. If an idea changes, we discuss its effect on the work before changing direction.
Useful feedback is part of the process. Review points and the number of revision rounds belong in the agreement, so you know when to share comments and what can be refined. Clear, consolidated feedback helps keep decisions connected to the original brief.
Launch is a practical milestone, with checks and handover responsibilities agreed in advance. Ongoing updates, maintenance, reporting or campaigns need their own confirmed scope. Support is discussed separately, rather than assumed to be included indefinitely.
Have a different question?
A conversation is a good place to start.
Armstead Marketing is operated as a UK sole trader. You have a direct conversation with the independent operator about the project, its scope and the decisions along the way. It is not presented as a large team or an incorporated agency.
No. Start with what you are trying to achieve and what feels unclear. A conversation can help identify a sensible starting point. Service availability and the final recommendation need to be confirmed before a project is agreed.
The packages are proposals for discussion, not an automatic promise of availability or a complete project agreement. Your written quotation must confirm the exact work, total price, applicable taxes, delivery and relevant terms before you commit.
Handover and any initial support should be defined in the project scope. Continuing website care or marketing activity can be discussed separately. There is no assumption that every project needs a subscription or a long-term retainer.

Armstead Marketing is the trading name of Armstead Harry Jake, a UK sole trader. Address: 59 Windsor Avenue, Heywood, OL10 3DB, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk or call +44 7346 114713.
If you email or call, we receive the contact details, project information and correspondence you choose to provide. For a paid project, we handle the selected services, agreed scope, necessary access information, delivery communications and payment references. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, API keys or unnecessary sensitive personal information by email or through the website.
The website enquiry form validates information but does not currently send an email or save the submission. To contact us, email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk or call +44 7346 114713. In the hosted application, pressing the form button may send the details to its validation endpoint; the application does not retain them or deliver an enquiry. Your optional project-builder brief stays in the current browser tab and is not automatically sent, put in a URL or saved in browser storage. You can choose to copy a summary to your clipboard or transfer it to the form. Refreshing or closing the tab loses an unsent brief.
Payments take place on Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe handles the customer and payment details you enter, including card information; our website does not collect or store full card numbers or security codes. Our Cloudflare D1 order database stores the order identifier, selected package and additions, itemised service snapshot, amount, currency, payment-session reference, order/payment status and processing timestamps. It also records payment-event identifiers and processing information so signed payment notifications can be handled reliably. Customer names, email addresses, billing addresses and card details are not stored in that order database. Relevant transaction information may still be available to us through Stripe for support, accounting, refunds and disputes. Stripe explains its own processing at stripe.com/privacy.
We use enquiry information to respond to your request and take steps at your request before a contract. We use project and transaction information to provide the services you order, communicate about delivery and administer the contract. We retain records required for tax, accounting and other legal obligations. We also use proportionate information to secure the website, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and protect legal rights, relying on legitimate interests where appropriate and considering your rights. Reading a privacy notice is not consent to marketing; we do not add you to a marketing list merely because you enquire or purchase.
Cloudflare hosts and protects the website, routes the public business email and provides the D1 order database. Business email is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Microsoft-hosted mailbox. Stripe provides hosted payment processing and associated fraud-prevention services. These providers may process information in countries outside the UK; the applicable contractual arrangements and lawful transfer safeguards govern that processing. Stripe may act as a processor or an independent controller depending on the activity. We share information only as needed for the relevant service, legal obligations or protection of rights; we do not sell personal information. If a project needs another provider, including an AI or automation service, its data scope, permissions and safeguards will be agreed before information is provided to it.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and resolve related questions. Project, order and payment records are retained for the period needed to deliver and support the agreed work, meet applicable accounting and legal requirements and deal with disputes or legal claims. Technical records are kept according to their operational and security purpose and the relevant provider arrangements. We consider the type of information, sensitivity, purpose, legal requirements and whether it can be deleted or anonymised. We do not promise a single retention period that applies to every record.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk to exercise a right or raise a complaint; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Providing information needed for a contract is necessary to arrange and deliver that work; if it is not provided, we may be unable to proceed.
There is no optional advertising or analytics tracking on the current marketing website. The cookie policy explains the local preference used to remember acknowledgement of the essential-technology notice. Services are intended for business and adult customers, not directed at children. This notice will be updated if our processing changes.

Armstead Marketing is the trading name of Armstead Harry Jake, a UK sole trader. Our address is 59 Windsor Avenue, Heywood, OL10 3DB, United Kingdom. Contact hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk or +44 7346 114713 about an order, service or complaint.
We provide the website, marketing and related digital services described in the selected package and any selected additions. Digital Clarity is a £300 GBP review and action plan; Website Essentials is a £650 GBP one-page website of up to five agreed sections; Digital Launch is a £1,200 GBP website of up to three agreed pages with a focused marketing action plan. The detailed deliverables, client inputs, revision allowance and exclusions shown on the services page form the basis of the selected scope. Priced additions are one-off services with their own stated limits. AI automation and other unpriced or bespoke requirements need a separate written quotation and cannot be purchased as an invented fixed-price addition.
Review the selected services, inclusions, exclusions and final itemised GBP total before paying. Confirm that the scope is suitable and contact us first if requirements or delivery arrangements are unclear. Payment is taken through Stripe-hosted Checkout. Your paid order is confirmed when the payment is verified and the order is recorded; the return page may show processing while that verification completes. A browser redirect alone is not payment confirmation. We then contact you by email to arrange the project details and delivery schedule. Payment does not automatically create a completed website, launch a campaign or fulfil the service. If we cannot provide the agreed service, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.
The final GBP total shown for your selection and on Checkout is the amount charged for that order. The packages and priced additions are one-off payments, not subscriptions. We do not charge unagreed extras. Advertising spend, domains, hosting, software subscriptions, third-party licences and ongoing services are excluded unless expressly included in the written scope. Any change to scope, price or separately authorised third-party cost must be agreed before it is incurred. No VAT registration or entitlement to reclaim VAT is represented by these terms.
Services and deliverables are supplied digitally, by email, agreed shared files or an agreed website handover; there are no physical goods or shipping charges. We confirm the project schedule by email once the scope, approved content and necessary authorised access are available. Please provide the materials, permissions and consolidated feedback identified for your package, and check the accuracy and lawfulness of content you approve. If inputs are delayed or requirements change, we will discuss the effect on the schedule and agree any revised work before proceeding. Work does not automatically start during an applicable consumer cancellation period merely because payment is made.
The selected package or addition states its included revision allowance. Digital Clarity includes one consolidated round of factual corrections to the action plan. Website Essentials includes one consolidated revision round against the agreed page design and content. Digital Launch includes one consolidated revision round across the agreed pages and action plan. New research, extra pages, additional functionality or a changed brief are separately quoted. We review delivery against the agreed scope and arrange handover of the agreed files or website access. Ownership, editable source files, third-party licences and any hosting arrangements must be set out in the written project scope; no transfer of a third party’s rights is implied. Ongoing maintenance or support is not included unless expressly agreed.
We do not guarantee search positions, advertising returns, sales volumes, deliverability or other commercial outcomes. Advertising platforms, search engines and other external services have their own rules and availability. Paid media budgets are separate from service fees unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any AI workflow requires an agreed purpose, authorised data and access, testing and appropriate human review; it is not a substitute for professional legal, financial or other regulated advice.
Our cancellation and refund policies explain how to contact us and how requests are assessed. If something does not meet the agreement, email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk with your order or project reference and describe the issue and remedy you seek. We will review the agreed scope and work supplied, discuss an appropriate resolution and keep you informed. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you cancel before any work on the service has started, we will refund the payment for that service in full. Any separately authorised third-party purchase or commitment will be explained and assessed separately against the agreement and applicable law. We do not apply an automatic cancellation penalty or a blanket non-refundable deposit rule. Statutory rights take priority over any project arrangement.
If you cancel after work begins, we assess the agreed scope, the work actually supplied, any properly authorised commitments and the applicable law. We explain any proposed proportionate charge and refund of the remaining payment. Where a consumer has a statutory cancellation right, charges for work during the cancellation period are allowed only when the legal requirements for an express early-start request and the required information have been met. We do not automatically retain the whole payment because work has started.
Please tell us if the service does not meet the agreed scope or applicable standards so we can review and address the issue. Where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies, services must be supplied with reasonable care and skill. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repeat performance, correction, a price reduction or a refund. A request will not be rejected solely because a payment has been made or because the service is digital. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Eligible consumers may cancel qualifying distance or off-premises service contracts during the applicable 14-day cancellation period. See the cancellation policy for how to give notice and the rules on requesting work to begin early. Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, it will be made without undue delay and within the applicable legal time limit. We will not replace a statutory refund with credit unless you agree and the law permits it.
Approved refunds of Stripe payments are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. We confirm the amount and provide an update when the refund is initiated. Provider processing and bank posting times vary; a fixed arrival date is not guaranteed. If a refund is pending or fails, contact us so we can investigate and discuss the next lawful steps. Your applicable payment-provider dispute rights remain available.

Trading proprietor: Armstead Harry Jake.
Email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk, call +44 7346 114713 or write to Armstead Marketing, 59 Windsor Avenue, Heywood, OL10 3DB, United Kingdom. State clearly that you wish to cancel, with your name and order or project reference. You do not need to use a particular form to give a clear cancellation statement. We will acknowledge the request and explain the work status and any refund or proportionate charge.
If no work on the service has started, the service payment is refunded in full. Once work has been supplied, any proposed charge must reflect the agreed work and applicable law; the remaining payment is assessed for refund. Separately authorised third-party commitments are considered fairly and do not override statutory rights. The refund policy explains the assessment and payment process.
If you are a consumer entering a qualifying distance or off-premises service contract, you normally have a right to cancel without giving a reason during the period ending 14 days after the day the contract is entered into, subject to applicable exceptions and any extended rights where required information was not supplied. Business customers do not automatically have the same statutory cooling-off right. This policy does not take away any statutory right that applies to your purchase.
Payment, acceptance of general terms or acknowledgement of a privacy notice does not itself request an early start. We will not begin work during an applicable consumer cancellation period without a separate express request and the required information. If you validly request an early start and then cancel, a proportionate amount for services supplied up to cancellation may be payable only where the legal conditions are satisfied. The right to cancel a service can be lost after full performance only where the required request and acknowledgement of that consequence were obtained.
You may use this wording, but it is not compulsory: “To Armstead Marketing, 59 Windsor Avenue, Heywood, OL10 3DB, United Kingdom; hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk. I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: [service and order reference]. Ordered on: [date]. Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address]. Date: [date].” Include a signature only if sending a paper notice.
If you want to pause or reschedule rather than cancel, contact us to agree what happens to the work, payment and timetable. A pause does not automatically reserve an indefinite slot or guarantee an immediate restart. The current packages and priced additions are one-off services and do not renew automatically. Any future recurring arrangement must state its own billing and cancellation terms before you agree to it.

The marketing website does not currently load optional analytics, advertising, remarketing or social-tracking cookies or marketing pixels. It uses a local browser preference to remember acknowledgement of the essential-technology notice. Local storage is a similar technology to cookies even though it is not sent with every HTTP request.
When you acknowledge the cookie notice, armstead.cookieNotice.v1 is saved in local storage with an expiry time 180 days after acknowledgement. The website stops relying on it after expiry; browser data may remain until cleared or replaced. It contains a notice version, an essential-only flag and an expiry time, not your name, email, project brief or payment details. It is used to remember that the notice has been acknowledged; acknowledgement does not enable optional tracking or give advertising or analytics consent. Reopen the notice using Cookie information in the footer, or remove the preference by clearing the website’s local data in your browser. If storage is unavailable, the notice may appear again.
Cloudflare provides website hosting, delivery and security. Technical request handling and security logs are separate from optional marketing tracking. Any strictly necessary storage or access is assessed for the particular service requested and its purpose; a technology is not exempt from consent simply because a provider calls it necessary. We do not publish unverified cookie names or durations for infrastructure that does not set a cookie in your browser.
Stripe JavaScript is not embedded on the marketing pages. When you choose Checkout, the website requests a payment session from its server and redirects you to a Stripe-hosted page. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies there for payment operation, security, fraud prevention and other functions described in its own notices. Its policy is available at stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy. Stripe’s notices do not replace this website’s cookie policy.
The project-builder brief is held only in the current tab’s application memory and is not saved in local storage or cookies. You can manage or delete website storage through your browser settings. Deleting the notice preference does not cancel a project or affect an existing payment.
Before introducing optional technologies, we will assess UK GDPR and PECR requirements, provide information about purposes and providers, and obtain consent where required before those technologies run. Where consent is used, users must have a genuine choice and a way to revisit or withdraw it. This notice will be updated when website storage or payment integration changes.
