01

Who is responsible

Armstead Marketing is the trading name of Armstead Harry Jake, a UK sole trader. Address: 59 Windsor Avenue, Heywood, OL10 3DB, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk or call +44 7346 114713.

02

Information we handle

If you email or call, we receive the contact details, project information and correspondence you choose to provide. For a paid project, we handle the selected services, agreed scope, necessary access information, delivery communications and payment references. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times. Please do not send card numbers, passwords, API keys or unnecessary sensitive personal information by email or through the website.

03

Enquiry form and project builder

The website enquiry form validates information but does not currently send an email or save the submission. To contact us, email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk or call +44 7346 114713. In the hosted application, pressing the form button may send the details to its validation endpoint; the application does not retain them or deliver an enquiry. Your optional project-builder brief stays in the current browser tab and is not automatically sent, put in a URL or saved in browser storage. You can choose to copy a summary to your clipboard or transfer it to the form. Refreshing or closing the tab loses an unsent brief.

04

Payments and order records

Payments take place on Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe handles the customer and payment details you enter, including card information; our website does not collect or store full card numbers or security codes. Our Cloudflare D1 order database stores the order identifier, selected package and additions, itemised service snapshot, amount, currency, payment-session reference, order/payment status and processing timestamps. It also records payment-event identifiers and processing information so signed payment notifications can be handled reliably. Customer names, email addresses, billing addresses and card details are not stored in that order database. Relevant transaction information may still be available to us through Stripe for support, accounting, refunds and disputes. Stripe explains its own processing at stripe.com/privacy.

05

Why we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to your request and take steps at your request before a contract. We use project and transaction information to provide the services you order, communicate about delivery and administer the contract. We retain records required for tax, accounting and other legal obligations. We also use proportionate information to secure the website, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and protect legal rights, relying on legitimate interests where appropriate and considering your rights. Reading a privacy notice is not consent to marketing; we do not add you to a marketing list merely because you enquire or purchase.

06

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website, routes the public business email and provides the D1 order database. Business email is forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Microsoft-hosted mailbox. Stripe provides hosted payment processing and associated fraud-prevention services. These providers may process information in countries outside the UK; the applicable contractual arrangements and lawful transfer safeguards govern that processing. Stripe may act as a processor or an independent controller depending on the activity. We share information only as needed for the relevant service, legal obligations or protection of rights; we do not sell personal information. If a project needs another provider, including an AI or automation service, its data scope, permissions and safeguards will be agreed before information is provided to it.

07

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up and resolve related questions. Project, order and payment records are retained for the period needed to deliver and support the agreed work, meet applicable accounting and legal requirements and deal with disputes or legal claims. Technical records are kept according to their operational and security purpose and the relevant provider arrangements. We consider the type of information, sensitivity, purpose, legal requirements and whether it can be deleted or anonymised. We do not promise a single retention period that applies to every record.

08

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email hello@armsteadmarketing.co.uk to exercise a right or raise a complaint; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Providing information needed for a contract is necessary to arrange and deliver that work; if it is not provided, we may be unable to proceed.

09

Website choices and updates

There is no optional advertising or analytics tracking on the current marketing website. The cookie policy explains the local preference used to remember acknowledgement of the essential-technology notice. Services are intended for business and adult customers, not directed at children. This notice will be updated if our processing changes.
